The Birko 20Ltr urn is a safe, reliable, and long-lasting electric urn. With high quality and low maintenance in mind this urn features a double walled polished stainless-steel body with vented, stainless-steel twist-to-lock lid. High quality composite thermoplastic base and handles for added strength and longevity.
The thermostat has a variety of settings giving you greater temperature control, but also has a safety cut-off so it automatically turns off the power if the urn boils dry. The urn comes equipped with heating and ready indicator lights, an on/off switch, water level sight glass, heat-resistant knobs, easy-lift safety handles and a chrome plated brass non-drip tap, all of which help to prevent any health and safety hazards from occurring, like causing burns to customers or staff.

Temperature Control
Device turns off the power if the urn boils dry.
- Place Urn on a level stable surface within reach of a power outlet in an accessible position for clear use.
- Fill Urn with water to desired level and fit lid.
- Replace the Urn lid and rotate to lock in place.
- Plug into power outlet and turn power on.
- Set the desired water temperature on the control knob.
- When the water in the Urn has reached the set temperature, the red heating light will turn off and the green ready light will turn on.
- In the event of a boil dry, a safety cut-out switch will activate. To reset the safety cut-out, disconnect the urn from the electrical outlet and allow the urn to cool down. Reset by pressing the black Boil Dry Reset button under the base of the urn.
- To keep the Urn clean, empty and refill with fresh water daily.
- Clean the exterior with a damp cloth then dry with a soft tea tow.
- Do not use cleaning agents.

- Avoid touching heated surfaces, use handles and knobs provided.
- Empty water before attempting to lift or move it.
- Avoid allowing the Urn to boil dry.
- Avoid allowing cord to touch hot surfaces or hang over table or counter.
- Avoid placing the Urn on or near a hot burner or near materials that can be affected by heat.
- Avoid plugging the cord into power outlet before turning any controls on.
- Avoid turning controls off before removing plug from power outlet.
- Avoid use the Urn for any purpose other than its intended use.
- Avoid overfilling the Urn.
- Beware of scalding steam when lifting Urn lid.
